Hi,
In the amortization schedule video, I’m having issues with the formula:
=IF(OR(C15=””,C15>=$F$9),””,C15+1) as seen in the completed workbook.
In the video, it’s only different in terms of order: =IF(OR(C15>=$F$9,C15=””),””,C15+1)
Nothing populates when I try either formula and I’ve tried a lot of troubleshooting outside of just trying the formulas multiple times. I understand the formula and it should be working. The only issue I can think of is excel thinking month 0 is blank”” for some reason or because it’s text that doesn’t recognize as a number. This is something I don’t know how to fix (I’ve tried messing with CTRL+1 formatting). Please let me know if you can help with this. Thanks!
Attached is a visual of my issue
*** I figured it out. The issue was “Month 0” Not being recognized as 0 and now I feel like an idiot. No need to follow up.

Charles – really glad you figured it out! And don’t feel bad, this is what the forum is for. Oftentimes, the issue is right in front of us and it’s helpful to have another set of eyes to take a look.
Let me know if I can answer anything else.
Spencer
